It's a nice break from shopping and walking along high rise buildings in Kuala Lumpur! Lake Titiwangsa is a beautiful and relaxing spot and offers the best view of Kuala Lumpur's skyline reflecting in the waters of the lake.

I took a nice ride through the city with the monorail and got out at the last stop - Titiwangsa. From there, I walked on a not so nice path along highways and fly-overs, through a few pedestrian tunnels, using my phone's GPS. It's really just a short walk, always focusing on the National Art Gallery, from where the lake is just a few minutes to the North.

Like the Lake Gardens, Lake Titiwangsa is a good way to cool off in the otherwise hot city of Kuala Lumpur. Bringing some food and drinks and of course camera equipment along with a good sun-block is essential for spending a nice and relaxing half-day in the city.
